Gov’t moves to diversify Gambia’s tourism products

The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has reaffirmed its commitment to diversifying The Gambia’s tourism products through ecotourism, culture, festivals, gastronomy and other initiatives aimed at attracting visitors to the regions and encouraging longer stays. Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Amie Njie, made the remarks during an interview following the conclusion of the upcountry regional tourism stakeholders’ engagement in Mansakonko, Lower River Region, on Friday, September 25, 2026.
