Giving an insight into the event, Sheikh Abubacarr Kujabi, founder of Ham Sa Deen – Iqra and Imam of Masjid Daru Sunah, reminded that it is the responsibility of the Muslim ummah to learn and know the religion no matter what other education they have or language they speak.

He thus thanked parents for enrolling their children at the school, assuring that the school is committed to promoting and orienting the basic knowledge and morals of Islam in the nation among others.

In his presentation on how to welcome ramadam, Sheikh Ayub Sanneh urged the people to repent, pray more, avoid sins, give charity, love each other and clean our hearts.

He also urged people not to get married because Ramadan is coming, but to do so for the sake of Allah.

Sanneh equally challenged parents to train their children on good deeds, talk less and do more good deeds, adding that the only way they can get what they want is to give what they love most for the sake of Allah.

He informed that when children are taught Islam they become righteous and content and are not corrupt.

Sheikh Ousman Manga reminded that teaching children who are future leaders in Islam at this stage is important, saying without knowledge one’s future and hereafter are both worthless.

The high corruption among government officials, he observed, is because they do not know its punishment hereafter.

Sheikh Omar Mbaye, Imam Ratib of Sinchu Alagie, described Sheikh Kujabi as a respectful individual, who can only impact value and good morals in children he teachs.
