The festival will run from Thursday 28th – Saturday 30th November 2024 at the Alliance Française on Kairaba Avenue. There’ll be a mix of African and French short films screened across the three nights and filmmaking workshops held during daytimes.

About Khoros Film Festival

Khoros Film Festival (KFF), is a non-profit organisation that delivers capacity building programmes in filmmaking in The Gambia. Our vision is to create a sustainable film industry in the country. Through our established networks, we provide filmmakers with a high-quality learning experience grounded in current global industry practices. In the past two years, we have run courses and workshops covering acting, screenwriting, film production, cinematography and documentary making.

Our students have recently completed the production of three short films, which is a culmination of all our courses and workshops. In the process, the students gained invaluable practical experience in development, pre-production, and production.

Our methods create an atmosphere that encourages talented individuals to express themselves with freedom and reach their full potential. Khoros Film Festival has an expanding membership and will continue to support capacity growth in the Gambian and African film industry.
