The call comes amid recent struggle the group is facing in accessing essential equipment and technology needed to create high-quality films and documentaries.
In an interview with The Point, Musa Jallow, Secretary of Skill Star Film Production, explained that the lack of proper production tools severely limits their potential as filmmakers.
"Many of us have the creative vision and talent to tell powerful stories, but we are constrained by the equipment we have. We therefore, call on Government, private institutions and relevant stakeholders” to help access necessary equipment for their production and avail the opportunities in order to achieve their aims and objectives in pushing their talents as young Gambians."
