Banjul North National Assembly Member, Hon. Modou Lamin B. Bah, has signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with the Nursing Students Association, NSA, of the University of The Gambia to boost healthcare delivery in the constituency.

The MoU, which took effect on July 21, seeks to promote community health and youth development in Banjul North.

Speaking at the signing, Hon. Bah, who also serves as Vice Chairperson of the National Assembly Select Committee on Health, reaffirmed his commitment to the objectives of the agreement.
He pledged continued support as part of his corporate social responsibility and said he is committed to making the partnership a success.

Under the MoU, the Nursing Students Association will lead free health service days for residents, healthcare outreach programs in schools, and menstrual hygiene and reusable pad training.

Hon. Bah will facilitate and provide support, particularly in logistics and financing for these health initiatives.

Both parties described the partnership as a practical step toward improving access to healthcare and health education at the community level.
