Following their 2-1 defeat to Santos FC in the ongoing Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) third division qualifiers a fortnight ago, Bantaba FC have bounced back to their winning form after a hard fought 1-0 win over Milan Rossenari FC at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium recently.
Bantaba FC opened the score through Buba Sanneh in the 54th minute of the game from a spectacular strike to give his side the lead that eventually proved to be the winner for Bantaba as well as their first victory in the qualifiers.
Milan Rossenari fought hard for an equaliser and created some goal-scoring opportunities but they squandered those limited opportunities, thus the game ended 1-0 in favour of Bantaba.
The victory has put Bantaba on the driving seat as they have now collected 4 points in three games, while Milan Rossenari are on the verge of being eliminated early from the qualifiers as they have managed to collect only a single point in three games.
