The annual inter-house athletics competition showed brilliant exhibition of skills and talents by athletes from the four participating houses and attracted hundreds of spectators from Gunjur and its satellite areas.
The school competition was also held to scout out good athletes that will represent the school in the 2012 West Coast Region Inter-Upper Basic Schools competition to be held in Brikama later this year.
At the end of the event, Kwame House were crowned champions of the 2012 Gunjur Upper Basic School Inter-house Athletics Competition after securing 542 points, followed by Samory House in second position with 475 points, Foday Sillah secured 3rd position with 444 points, while Cabral finished 4th with 375 points.
