Despite his side’s 2-1 defeat in the hands of Brikama United in the week two fixtures of the ongoing Gambia Football Association (GFA) division one league championship at the Weekend, head coach of the Gambia Ports Authority Peter Bonu Johnson has expressed optimism that GPA will bounce back to their winning form as the league progresses.
Bonu, whose team has been enduring one of the worst moments of its life, said his men could have won their last league game considering the numerous chances they squandered, although they could only manage a consolation.
He admitted that the problem lies with the team’s scoring power but has vowed to go back to the training ground in a bid to reinforce his striking options ahead of the next game.
