Unity Promotion recently defeated Farato United by a goal to nil in the ongoing 3rd Division Triangular match played at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.
Striker Anthony Mankabu scored the only goal of the game in the 49th minute from a brilliant finish after capitalising on skipper Martin Badgie’s sensible pass to give his side all the needed three points at the expense of Farato United.
Unity Promotion FC have now collected maximum 6 points in two games while Farato United could only manage to collect a single point in three games.
Other games in the competition saw the two relegated sides from the Second Division League, Serrekunda United and Flamemins FC lock horns at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.
That game ended 3-0 in favour of Serrekunda United leaving them with 6 points in two games, while Flamemins FC are without a point in two games.
