Striker Lamin Bady Sanneh`s brace in the 1st and 47th minutes of the game as the league champions Sky Power FC beat knockout champions Real Chelsea FC 2-1 to clinch the 2011 Lamin Kabba Bajo-sponsored Brikama Super Cup title at a game played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini-stadium on Sunday.
The tightly contested game was dominated and controlled by Real Chelsea FC, who created numerous goal-scoring chances but managed to score only a consolation through striker Lamin Dibba in the 22nd minute of the game.
Sky Power FC on the other hand were defending and relying on counter attacks, which really paid dividends, as their defence line was able to contain Real Chelsea FC’s formidable striking force and thus the game ended 2-1 in favour of Sky Power FC.
As the champions of the Super Cup, Sky Power FC were crowned with a giant trophy and a cash prize of D3,000, whilst Real Chelsea FC received D2,000 as the runners-up.
