Sky Power FC sail to Brikama League final

Sky Power FC are through to the 2010-11 Brikama Nawetaan League final after thrashing Jaliba United FC 2-0 in their semi-final clash at the Box Mini-Stadium in Brikama on Monday.

Both sides put up spectacular performance in the first 15th minute of the game. They launched series of assaults on each other's goal mouth but failed to capitalise on their limited goal-scoring chances.

Sky Power FC opened the scoring in the 23rd minute of the game through powerful striker Lamin Bady Sanneh from a spectacular strike, while Pierre Mallow sealed the victory in the 67th minute of the game to make it 2-0 for Sky Power FC.

Jaliba United FC fought back for an equaliser but all their goal-scoring opportunities were denied by Sky Power FC defence. Thus, the game ended 2-0 in favour of Sky Power FC.

Sky Power will now clash with Berewuleng FC in the final.  Berewuleng FC progressed to the final following their 4-2 win over Amasa FC on post-match penalty kick, after a1-1 draw in the regular time in the other semi-final game played on Saturday.
