The donation, part of Ser Humano's strategic international humanitarian aid plan, includes hospital-grade electric beds, anti-bedsore mattresses, basic medical supplies, and clinical instruments. These essential medical resources would significantly help improve the living conditions and medical care for inmates at the country’s biggest prison facility.
Also, the initiative highlights the dedication of key figures within the Gambian administration, including the Director General of Penitentiary Institutions, Mr. Digi, and the Minister for Public Administration, Boubacar Manssally, whose support facilitated the safe and effective delivery of the materials.

"And every day we reaffirm our conviction that dignity and humanitarian care must also be provided to those who are in prison."
Lamin Sowe, Commissioner of the Gambia Prison Service, while expressing gratitude to the donors, called for judicious utilisation of the donated items to effectively serve its purpose.
Sowe also urged other philanthropists to support the prison's rehabilitation process.
On his part Babucarr Mansally, Councillor of Tallinding North said the donation represents their commitment to the well-being of all members of our community, including those within the prison system.
