In what is believed to be another positive step in promoting and nurturing young talents in the country, MB Vision, an entertainment company last Friday signed contracts with two emerging artistes at a signing ceremony held at Motherland, Senegambia.

The newly signed artistes - Sulayman Jobe, also known by his stage moniker King Saul, and Sulayman Jallow, aka Lucky Saul, are fast rising multi-talented stars, who are ready to make it in the country’s music landscape and beyond.

With this signing, the music company will now be responsible for promoting their music from production, branding to marketing just to name a few.

The move was made possible through the facilitation of Christopher Mendy, popularly known as Chris Black, a renowned Gambia music promoter and event organiser now based in Germany.

Many described the move as another bold move in promoting and showcasing Gambian talents on a wider spectrum.

At the event, Chris Black explained that MB vision is a Gambian company and are here to scout young talent, create platform and to also empower the young Gambians.

He also spoke about what the whole deal entails, stating that the company will be responsible for the production, branding and marketing.

He said they will also embark on scouting not only on the local level but also international events.

“So, MB Vision will manage these artists in every aspect of their careers, including production, branding, and marketing. MB Vision will work closely with them to ensure their careers are taken to the next level.”

The Gambian music promoter reminded that MB Vision is not only seeking national talent but is also open to discovering and supporting international acts.

“Their doors are open to any Gambian artist, whether based at home or abroad. If you believe you have what it takes in music or entertainment, MB Vision is here for you,” he encouraged.

Chris Black disclosed that the company has been doing this kind of support underground and now is the time to showcase some of their programmes to the world.

“The main goal at MB Vision is to create a platform where the voiceless can be heard through entertainment, open doors for aspiring artistes, and put the Gambian music industry on the global map.”

Also speaking, Amadou Kurubally, Executive Director of MB Vision, highlighted their vision of nurturing and harnessing young talents to the fore.

The move, he said, is also part of their contribution to national development as citizens, further acknowledging that there are abundant talents in the country.

He said MB Vision is a family company with plans to uplift the country’s entertainment scene, adding that they’ve worked to express the company’s commitment to bringing new projects to uplift the industry.

“We are all Gambians and we will stand for Gambia. We don’t want to see any Gambian youth being exploited while having money and look without doing anything. That’s why we started this initiative.” he stated.

He spoke of the ingenuity and vast talents he saw in the two young emerging stars, which he said, was the main reason that prompted them to sign them.

The two artistes, who were full of praise expressed their resolve to work and uplift and promote the vision of the company.

Sulayman Jobe, aka King Saul and Sulayman Jallow aka Lucky Saul, both expressed delight further affirming their readiness to represent the company at all levels.
