The assurance was given during a recent courtesy visit by the UTGSU executive, led by President Ismaila Fadera, to the Ministry’s office in Kanifing.
The delegation also included members of the Students’ Week 2026 Organising Committee, including Chairperson Fatoumatta Koroma.
Permanent Secretary Ms. Isatou Auber and Deputy Permanent Secretary, Technical, Dr. Samba Sowe, welcomed the student leaders.
Discussions centered on deepening the existing collaboration between MoHERST and UTGSU. Key issues raised included transportation challenges affecting students’ attendance at the Faraba Campus, support for Students’ Week 2026, and capacity-building initiatives for students.
MoHERST reiterated its commitment to working closely with UTGSU and supporting its programmes aimed at advancing student welfare and academic development.
