In a remarkable show of compassion and giving back to the institution that shaped their lives, the 1996 batch of Nusrat Senior Secondary School Form 5 Science class has extended generosity to its former school with the donation of 20 trash bins.
The 26-member group, led by former class prefect Jarga Jallow, made the presentation on Tuesday in a move aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental responsibility within the school premises.
The gesture was warmly received by the school administration.
Presenting the items, Sainey Cham, a representative of the 1996 Form 5 Science batch, expressed gratitude to the institution for shaping their lives and emphasized the importance of alumni engagement in supporting the school’s growth.
He also encouraged current students to take their learning seriously, stressing that education is vital not only for their personal well-being but also for the progress of the country.
Receiving the items, Paul G. Addae, Acting Principal of the school, commended the alumni for their thoughtful contribution, describing it as a meaningful gesture that reflects the enduring bond between former students and their alma mater.
