Tight at The Top of Division One

After spectacular performances since the resumption of division one football, the championship has reached game four of the league with the championship still wide open.

The joint leaders Bakau United and Seaview both with seven points will decide among themselves on Wednesday 4th of March 2009, the new dominant force of this season at S/K East while Real will play a derby game against Hawks on Saturday 4th March at the Independence Stadium at 4.30pm

Real, who are stuck in the relegation zone, have made a slow start to the season with only one point. Fellow strugglers Africell/Sait Matty will play on the same day against Steve Biko in Brikama at .

Wallidan, the champions who are boosted by the return of star striker Ballack, will play with the Telecommunications Boys Gamtel on Thursday 5th of March 2009 at the S/K East Mini Stadium while the in form Tallinding United will battle it out with the Khaki Boys at the Independence Stadium  on the 5th March at

The last of the mid-week games will be played between Samger, who are also joint top with seven points, and the Western Division Boys Brikama United, at the artificial turf in Brikama on the 5th March 2009 at .
