Sifoe Senior Secondary School has maintained their hundred percent lead in the ongoing Gambia Secondary Schools Sports Association (GSSSA) Brikama zone inter-schools football tournament.
They defeated Fatima Senior Secondary School 1-0 in a tightly-contested game played at the Bwiam Football Field at the weekend.
Sifoe the 2010 runners-up after losing to Farafenni on post-match penalty shootout after 1-1 draw in the regulation time walloped Saint Francis Senior Secondary School 4-0 in their last encounter a fortnight ago and they came into the game with the objective of securing maximum points to stand a better chance of reaching the next round of the tournament.
Fatima also came into the game with the aim of grabbing the maximum points but surrendered the maximum points to Sifoe, who are currently unbeaten since the start of the tournament last month.
