Serrekunda East Basketball team has maintained their superb run of form in the ongoing Annual Late Pa Modou Memorial Basketball Tournament.
They defeated defending champions Wallidan Basketball team 45 points to 36 in a well-contested group A encounter played at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium Basketball Courts recently.
Serrekunda East Basketball team has now registered two victories and one defeat against Lamin Basketball team in the opening game of the tournament, and the victory of Wallidan has put them on the driving seat.
Wallidan Basketball team has now recorded one victory and a draw with a game in hand against Bakau United. They will be hoping for a victory to keep their hopes of reaching the semifinal and retaining the title they won last year.
