Ron Mango has maintained their spectacular run of form as they are celebrating two titles, the league and knockout, at the expense of Mamakoto and their Saturday's opponents Zuwa FC, at the Bakau Mini-stadium.Goals from forward Modou Janneh and influential midfielder Lamin Jallow, "aka" Beck, was all but enough to send Ron Mango into jubilation as they have won the Bakau nawetaan once again.
The Bakau Newtown outfit, who were the champions of the league competition last year, scored two quick goals in the early stages of what appeared to be a pulsating knockout final against the newcomers Zuwa FC whose title hope came to an end at the weekend.
It would be recalled that Ron Mango, who progressed to the double finals last season, were on their way to a famous victory against Mamakoto in the final of the league cup championship a fortnight ago.
The game was later marred by violence amidst huge criticism from Mamakoto officials, who accused the central referee, Haruna Cham, for spoiling the match when the result was tied at 2-nil for Ron Mango.
The Bakau zonal sports committee few hours later entirely agreed to replay the final and went on to impose a fine of D1,000 on Mamakoto, but that decision did not go down well with coach Alagie Drammeh and his charges.
But after thoroughly looking into the fracas, the committee at Saturday's final made a u-turn and crowned Ron Mango the league champions.
