Man remanded for alleged idle, disorderly conduct

The Kanifing Magistrates' Court recently remanded in custody one Sheikh Omar Secka after he pleaded not guilty of the charge of idle and disorderly conduct.

According to the charge sheet, on 23 February 2011, at Serekunda in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Sheikh Omar Secka, behaved in a public place in a manner that was likely to cause a breach of the peace.

Magistrate Drammeh adjourned the case till 9 March 2011.
