Gambian star and king of kora sound Jaliba Kuyateh, along with king of the Fula music of Guinea Conakry Alphajo Dara, will perform in grand style in a gala dinner and dance at the Manjai Stadium (Father Gough Sports Complex) in Manjai Kunda on New Year’s Eve starting from 9pm onwards.
The event will be a golden moment as it will bring together two international music heavyweights in a Clash of the Titans showdown, in one musical explosion show, accompanied by magnificent and fascinating display of fireworks.
Organised by Sound City under Mabou Touray and produced by music impresario Oko Drammeh, the clash of the giants event will attract many Jaliba fans and the Fula community in The Gambia, who will come out en mass to cheer Alphajo Dara in this battle of the Titans of music.
There will be super special surprises from the Senegalese city of Dakar in the persons of Ngoneh Ndiaye Geuwel and Mam Balla to spice the event with their worthy appearance.
There will also be a dinner menu with the most delicious and exotic foods of all kinds and the finest vintage champagne and wine, fresh natural juices and soft drinks of all kinds for all in the family.
