Gunjur United defeated Tallinding United 2-0 in their re-scheduled Week 12 fixtures played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium at the weekend.
The game, dominated by Gunjur United, yielded dividends in the 30th minute when winger wizard Abdoulie Jammeh, alias Beckham, netted the opener from a spectacular strike.
Yusupha Barrow sealed the victory in the 75th minute of the game from a close range strike to give Gunjur United the maximum points at the expense of Tallinding United.
Current league leaders Seaview walloped struggling Starlight 6-0 at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.
Lamin United beat Interior at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
Sait Matty were held to a 1-1 draw by Serrekunda East at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.
Elsewhere, Banjul United were held to a 2-2 draw by Latrikunda United in the other re-scheduled Week 12 fixtures played at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day.
