DR.
Henry Darlington Richmond Carrol (M.R.G.), a Doctor Of Laws (U.K.), The
Chairman Of The Gambia Law Reform Commission (T.G.L.R.C.), a Founder Senior Law
Lecturer Of The Faculty Of Law Of The University Of The Gambia, (from 22nd
January 2007 to date) and a Solicitor General Emeritus Of The Gambia, will
leave The Gambia today, to travel to Accra, The Capital Of Ghana, to represent
The Gambia at a Training On Statelessness For Professors Of Laws And Doctors Of
Law.
The
U.N.H.C.R. Regional Office for West Africa, had the pleasure of inviting DR
Henry Darlington Richmond Carrol – M.R.G., as a very suitable and qualified
person to represent The Gambia at the aforesaid training, since inter alia
(Latin ie among other things), he is a Senior Human Rights Lawyer And
Consultant, and on 24th January 2012, he was Officially appointed as a PhD
Visiting Professor Of Land Law, by The Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science
& Technology (K.N.U.S.T) in The City Of Kumasi (The Royal Seat Of The
Ashanti King, Otumfuo (His Majesty) Nana Osei Tutu II) in Ghana, to visit
K.N.U.S.T in 2012 for one week, to lecture on “LAND LAW AND LAND TENURES” at
The West African Science Centre For Climate Change & Adaptive Land Use
(W.A.S.C.A.L.) PhD Programme in Climate Change And Land Use at K.N.U.S.T.
The
aforesaid training on Statelessness, is being organized and fully sponsored by
The United Nations High Commission For Refugees (U.N.H.C.R.), and as the name
implies, it is The United Nations Specialized Agency for both Refugees and
Displaced Persons. The incumbent able Head Of The U.N.H.C.R. Of The Gambia, is
Gambian-born Mr Seikou K. Saho. The aforesaid training on Statelessness, will
take place in Ghana, from the 12th to 16th December 2016.
