Barrow, Caroyol strikes stimulate Gambia to slight win over CAR in int’l friendly

Striker Modou Secka Barrow and winger Mustapha Caroyol’s strikes have earned The Gambia Senior National team a slender 2-1 win over Central Africa Republic Senior National team in an international friendly match played in Rabat on Tuesday.

The Scorpions lost to Morocco CHAN team 2-1 in their first international match played in Rabat on Thursday prior to their 2-1 victory over Central Africa Republic in their second international friendly.

Both strikes of striker Modou Secka Barrow and winger Mustapha Caroyol in the first half were enough to earn The Gambia a slender win over their Central Africa Republican international friendly fixtures.

The international friendly was part of The Gambia and Central Africa Republic’s preparations for their upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers set to start in June 2017.
