Preparations
are currently being intensified for the 2017 Benna Kunda Marathon run slated
for Sunday 2 March 2017, in Gunjur, Kombo South District of the West Coast
Region.
The
Marathon run is part of the 13-year anniversary celebration of Benna Kunda.
The
Marathon run will feature three categories namely; male, female and children.
Male
and female 5-kilometre race will commence in Gunjur Kanilai and finish at Benna
Kunda in Gunjur Jujuba.
Children
1-kilometre will begin in Gunjur Jujuba junction and finish at Benna Kunda in
Gunjur Jujuba.
The
registration fees for the marathon run are as follows: male D100, female D50
and children free. The deadline for registration is Saturday 1 April 2017.
According
to the organisers, the marathon run will start at 4pm.
