Ball Conge FC, United Stars suffer defeats in East Nawetan

Defending nawetan and super cup champions Ball Conge FC, and knock-out champions, United Stars FC, both recently suffered defeats in the ongoing Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) Nawetan competition at the East Park.

Ball Conge FC, who only registered a single win in three games, were yet again beaten 3-2 by B. J. Academy FC to add more worries to their hopes of defending their title.

Ball Conge FC have now collected three points in three games, while B. J. Academy FC collected seven points in three encounters.

United Stars FC who are yet to secure a win, since they started the nawetan, were yet again defeat by Abuko United courtesy of Halifa Jarra’s only goal of the game.

United Stars FC are without a point in three encounters, while Abuko United collected seven points in four games.

At the Biri-Biri Mini Stadium on Saturday, in the ongoing Ndofan Sports Committee organized nawetan competition sponsored by Seedy M. B. Kinteh, President of the Gambia Football Association, both teams came from Fass Njaga Choi village - Jollof FC and Jokor FC - which locked horns, and the game ended 1-1.

Baboucarr Nyan opened the score line for Jokor FC in the 7th minute of the game, but his goal was cancelled by Modou Njie in the 26th minute, when he netted his side’s equalizer; thus the game ended 1-1.
