Abubacarr Sidique Foundation for Orphans and Needy Welfare Association (ASFONWA), in collaboration with its UK friends, will hold its annual Sports Jamboree for its sponsored orphans today, 8 November 2011, at the Gunjur Upper Basic School football field.
ASFONWA is an organization established by Gunjurians in 2006 to support orphans and the needy in Gunjur and its environs.
The daylong event will bring all ASFONWA-sponsored students together to participate in various sporting disciplines.
The sponsored orphans will be organised in four groups, namely Kabba Saidy, Oustarr Omar Bun Jeng, Hatab Bojang and Kombo Sillah.
