Actions set to return in domestic division one league weekends As Marimoo hope to renew lead

Actions are set to return in the 2016-2017 Gambia Football Federation domestic division league after the observation of the December 1 presidential election.

League leaders Marimoo hope to win their next league fixtures to maintain lead in the country’s top flight after winning their two opening league fixtures following their 1-0 win over Tallinding United and Bombada.

The Manjai-based outfit will vie to win their next league fixtures this weekend to maintain their hundred percent and unbeaten run in the top flight.

The Manjai-based outfit also hope to win their next league fixtures to keep their chances of winning their first-ever division one league title and stay in the top flight next season as well as avoid relegation to the second division.

Bombada are currently rooted bottom place in the country’s top flight after losing their two opening league fixtures against Hawks and the newly-promoted side Hawks and Marimoo.

The Brikama-based outfit will target to win their next league fixtures this weekend to move away from relegation zone after losing their two opening league fixtures against Hawks and the newly-promoted side Marimoo 1-0.
