Abdou Darbo's Honefoss climb, Sohna's Sandefjord take bottom

Abdou Darboe's Honefoss settled to a goaless draw in Wednesday night showdown against Valerenga in Week Ten of the Norwegian Tippeligaen to out stead Sohna's Sandefjord to 15 position and 5 points.

The all-Gambia clash between Darboe's Honefoss against his Gambian brothers: Kristian Bix and Dawda Leight's Valerenga gave both sides minimum points to shift in the standings.

Valerenga are now 4th and 16 position and seven points behind leaders. They are set to take on strugglers Kongsvinger on Saturday May 8th.

Darboe's Honefoss, who are lagging at the bottom of the table in nine fixtures, took over from Sandefjord when the latter lost to Kongsvinger 1-0 all in Wednesday matches.

The two bottom place strugglers Honefoss and Sandefjord will face each other on Sunday.

The Sports Journalists Association of the Gambia foreign footballer of the year, Tijan Jaiteh and Brann were beaten by current leaders, Tromso following a Rushfeldt 29th minute goal, leaving them at 13 position and 9 points.

SK Brann will play away to Stabaek also on Sunday.

In the other part of Europe, Demba Savage's FC Honka will clash with strugglers FF Jaro on Sunday.

Dawda Bah's HJK Helsinki will meet mid-table occupants AC Oulu on Monday night.

HJK Helsinki, so far leaders of Finnish Veikkausliga are topping the table with seven points in three matches.

Gambian attacker Demba Savage side is third following to wins.

Pa Modou Jagne's St Gallen at 6 position and 46 points in the Swiss Super League lost 2-1 to Young Boys current league toppers at 77 points, the result of which still left them at the middle of the table with a few more games to go in the ten-team league.
