The annual
Central Bank governor football tournament staged for financial institutions in
the country will kick-off tomorrow Saturday 7th
February 2009
at the Independence Stadium in Bakau featuring 10 participating teams.
Central Bank is pitted in group a along side, Bank PHB, ArabGambia Islamic Bank, Access Bank and Trust Bank Limited.
Group B includes Standard Chartered Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, ECOBANK, International Commercial Bank and First International Bank
The opening game will feature a group A clash between Central Bank and Bank PHB. On Sunday Standard Chartered Bank will lock horns with Guaranty Trust Bank as part of Group B matches.
