Young entrepreneur assumes office as GYCC’s acting CEO

The Gambia Youth Chamber of Commerce (GYCC), one of the country’s eminent bodies of youth entrepreneurs has appointed a young Gambian woman, Fatima Muloshi, as its acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO.)

Fatima, who has a wealth of expertise and a dynamic background that aligns with the vision of the youth-led entrepreneurial body, holds a first degree in Accounting and Finance from the American International University, West Africa.

An entrepreneur herself, Fatima has ventured into various pursuits, ranging from graphic design, printing, modelling and outfit retailing.

According to GYCC, she has been very much engaged in youth matters through advocacy and other activities. She has also contributed to organisations like Linet Global and Forward For Youth, where she volunteered in various leadership capacities.

“With Fatima at the helm, we are excited about the innovation and leadership she will bring to GYCC. Join us in welcoming Fatima Muloshi as our acting CEO and in supporting her in shaping a brighter future for our organisation and the communities we serve,” GYCC states in a release.
