The rationale behind such engagements is to foster collaborations that would be mutually befitting to students and these partners. Additionally, these discussions were staged during a recent visit by the student delegation to the Kolomoni Microfinance Institute in Senegambia, a visit that was part of an active effort to engage potential partners.
The delegation was made up of students recently elected to steer the affairs of the students as union executive members.
The discussions focused on the possibilities of partnering in digital payments, entrepreneurship opportunities, and areas of mutual interests.
At the event, student leaders extended heartfelt gratitude to Mr Samuel Williams and his team for their warm reception and hospitality.
They expressed optimism to gain better collaboration by engaging in fruitful discussions, while also lauding Kolomoni's willingness to collaborate on initiatives such as their upcoming Students' Week.
