Muhammed, a native of Brikama is a champion poet of regional poetry championship in West Coast Region.
He said his poems are advocating for peace, unity, human rights, religious affairs, love, among others.
"My poems always teaches good morals and advocate for justice,” he stated, adding that he need the visual chance to act on stage for people to see what he is capable of. “I am ready to take poetry in The Gambia to the next level," he added.
Explaining his motivations as a poet, Sanneh said: "I fell in love with poetry because of the creative mind that one can get from it. The things I have been seeing all around me either good or bad motivated me to become a poet. I love fighting for freedom, equality and peace.”
Sanneh who said he has been a poet for about 11 years added that he hopes his poems will help contribute positively towards changing society.
Poet Sanneh is also seeking sponsorship from philanthropist, stakeholders and well wishers to enable him realise his dreams and aspirations.
