
The motorcycles are intended to facilitate the recipients’ work in mobilising communities, coordinating regional activities, and strengthening the Movement’s grassroots engagement.
Speaking at the ceremony held yesterday 14 October, Kemo Bojang, the spokesman of the Unite Movement for Change, described the gesture as part of the Movement’s commitment to empowering its coordinators and volunteers across the nation.
Mr Bojang underscored that effective communication and mobility are crucial for advancing the Movement’s objectives and connecting with the people in every corner of The Gambia.
He further described the initiative as not just about logistics, saying it is about empowering their representatives to better serve their communities by spreading the message of unity, progress, and change.
Tombong Saidy applauded the recipients for their dedication and commitment to the ideals of the Movement, as he further urged them to use the motorcycles responsibly and effectively in carrying out their duties.
Delivering the vote of thanks, Ramatoulie Cham expressed her appreciation to the leadership of the Unite Movement for Change for their foresight and continuous support to regional structures.
