A woman was yesterday arraigned before Principal Magistrate Fredrick Foster of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, charged with the offence of assault, causing actual bodily harm.
Fatou Sowe denied the charge and was granted court bail of D5,000 with a Gambian surety with a reachable address.
According to the particulars of offence, on 10 September 2011, at Bundung, within the jurisdiction of the court, the accused, Fatou Sowe, assaulted one Mariama Jarju, by slapping her on her face and thereby committed an offence.
The case continues.
