Vidar,
Bantangkoto and Luneburg are all through to the second round of the ongoing
Bakau Knockout competition after beating Magadan, Saul Samba and Six and One at
the Real De Banjul Football Field at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at the
weekend.
Vidar
thrashed Magadan 3-1 in their Knockout encounter. Striker Abdoulie Barrow and
Mamadou Musa were on target for Vidar.
Striker
Abdoulie Sowe’s last strike only proved to be a consolation for Magadan in the
game.
The
defeat saw Magadan out of the league and knockout competition after their
woeful performance in the Bakau summer biggest football fray.
Bantangkoto
also thumped Saul Samba 2-0 to reach the second round.
Dawda
Touray and Landing Sanyang were on the score sheet for Bantangkoto in the game.
Elsewhere,
Luneburg thrashed Six and One 3-0 to progress to the second round.
