Gambia international Mustapha Jarju has added three more goals in his account as Mons beat Tubize 5-1 on Saturday in the Belgian Second Division.

Jarju, who has so far scored a total of 9 goals this season, gave Mons the lead in the 8th minute.

A nice solo work from Jarju at the entrance of the rectangle before attacking earned the 24-year-old Gambian his second of the game in the 49th minute.

Tubabu, as he is fondly called, termed man of the match by his club’s site, tripled the scores from a six-metre strike in the 62nd minute.

The Gambian midfielder was even close to a historic quadruple in the 75th minute but it was sent going narrowly wide.

Sanogo made it 4-0 for Mons in the 78th minute before a disagreement in Mons’s defence helped Jonckheere to console the visitors by pushing the match to 4-1.

The score line was later changed to 5-1 by Matthys in the 83rd minute to finally help secure a third place spot for Mons on 23 points.

USA MLS
Sanna Nyassi’s Seattle Sounders and the Houston Dynamo have faced off in a 'physical' match at Robertson Stadium, resulting in a 2-1 victory for Houston in their last regular season match in front of their home fans.

The match was highlighted by questionable refereeing decisions and missed chances by Seattle. They were arguably the better side on the day, but in a game with minimal chances, Houston finished while Seattle did not.

D.C. United fell to Amadou Sanyang’s Toronto FC 3-2. Nick LaBrocca and Dwayne De Rosario were the main heroes for Toronto, as LaBrocca assisted in two of the goals, and De Rosario scored twice to increase his season’s total to 15. But in a game that meant nothing in the standings, D.C. United sent off number 99 with a goal to finish off his illustrious career.

Finland
Dawda Bah's HJK Helsinki lost to Tampere United 2-0 in Saturday's Finnish Veikkausliga matches. The top-placed team, who are still clinging on the lead, are now threatened by KuPS Kuopio, who are just 2 points behind them.

Demba Savage's Honka shared the spoils with FC Inter. The side that finished 2nd last season are now faced with what looks like a poor run of form after falling to 4th position with 41 points.

Norway
Dawda Leigh’s and Kristain Brix’s Valerenga beat Lillestrom 2-1 on Saturday in the Norwegian Tippeligaen.

Valerenga is still behind Rosenborg on second position with 58 points.

Switzerland
Gambia international Abdourahman Dampha’s Neuchatel Xamax beat Lucerene 2-1 on Saturday to shift to 15 points and 5th on the Swiss Axpo Super League table.
