Kanifing South FC on Saturday came from a goal down to beat Dippa Kunda United by 4-1 in their final group stage encounter to qualify to the quarterfinals of the Serrekunda West Sports Organisation Nawetaan.
Mustapha Manneh opened the score line for Dippa Kunda United in the 24th minute of the game from a sensible header after capitalising on Yoro Sonko's brilliant cross from the left side of the field.
Sankung Sumbudu leveled the score line for Kanifing South FC in the 37th minute of the game from a fantastic shot before the first half ended 1-1.
Kanifing South FC, who needed a win to advance to the quarterfinals, increased the tally through Ali Ceesay. Sankung Sumbudu made it 3-1 for Kanifing South FC in the 51st minute of the game. Bajara Jabbi sealed the victory for Kanifing South FC in the 80th minute from a wonderful finisher.
