Saffiatou Kinteh, a graduate of Nusrat Senior Secondary School, who is currently pursuing her degree programme in nursing at the American University along Kairaba Avenue, is in need of sponsorship to enable her complete her studies.
Speaking to The Point, the young Brikama Nyambai native explained that her father used to pay her tuition fees before he was involved in an accident last year.
This, she added, had made the father who was the sole sponsor not able to foot the bill.
According to Ms Kinteh, she still had arrears at the university for the past semesters, and lamented that she could not continue her studies without settling her arrears.
“I want to serve this country and this is why I have chosen to study nursing. I need support to accomplish my dreams,” she stated.
She appealed to the government, institutions, NGOs, philanthropists, and individuals to come to her aid.
