Sohna Academy FC last Tuesday defeated Bradford FC 4-2 in the post-match penalty shoot out in the ongoing Serrekunda East nawettan qualifiers after 90th minute of played ended 1-1 at the Buffer Zone Playing Grounds.
Ebou Jammeh scored for Bradford FC in the 13th minute of play while Sohna Academy FC levelled the tally in the 57th minute through midfielder Pierre Gomez. The scored sent the match into penalty shooting that ended 4-2 in favour of Sohna Academy.
BB Rovers FC thrashed Talibi FC 2-0 in another qualifiers. BB Rovers FC goals were scored by Fanding Camara and Madi Saidy in the 26th and 57th minute of play respectively.
Elsewhere at Charles Jaw Memorial Upper Basic School football pitch ,Wales FC defeated Max FC 1-0 at 3PM encounter, Wales FC lone goal came in the 62nd minute of play courtesy of star striker Nicholas Gomez while Piccadilly FC defeated Bayern Central FC 5-4 in the post match penalty kick following 0-0 draw in the regular time.
