Sifoe are through to the final of the ongoing West Coast Region third division qualifiers following their 5-4 post-match penalty shootout win over Immigration, after a goalless draw in regulation time, in the first semifinal tie played at the Late Sanna Jatta Memorial Football Field in Lamin recently.
The tightly contested encounter saw both sides put up spectacular performance during the game and launched series of goal-scoring attempts in front of each other’s goal mouth but the regulation time failed to produce a winner.
This pushed the game into a post-match penalty shootout which ended 5-4 in favour of Sifoe to get them to the final, while Immigration are out of the qualifier.
Sifoe will now rub shoulders in the final with the winner between Gunjur versus Black & White FC of Berending.
