The proprietor of the school, Mrs Haddy Saine, said the school got most of its support from donors and the association of parents.
From those contributions, they were able to develop the school, which now boasts of Arabic and French sections, where children are taught how to speak and understand French, Arabic and English till they reach Grade 9, she said.
She added that this year’s results were satisfactory, expressing hope that such development trajectory would continue with much improvement.
She thanked parents who she said have entrusted them with their kids, as well as the teachers who play essential and major part in moulding the students and preparing them for exams and progress.
The Alkalo of Kololi, Abdoulie Joof, said society’s greatest asset isteachers who put efforts into seeing the development of the young who will always hold the mantle of development.
He said he was abreast of debates going on in the National Assembly where MPs make strong grounds to see quality education in the country.
Mr Joof advised students to be discipline, obey rules, which he said, involves persistence and adherence to a course of success.
He urged students to exercise discipline in and outside the school, adding that the world outside school boundary is a vicious one where the hands of evil are fighting mightily to destroy the good.
But if armed with intellectual knowledge, discipline, steadfastness, courage and love of self and others and determination to succeed, one is bound to overcome the forces of evil, he said.
He also thanked the school administration for contributing to national development.
Giving this year’s exams analysis, the principal of the school, Modou Nadaan, said this year’s exams are much more satisfactory than last year’s and from analysis much improvement was registered.
He promised to improve performance at the school, as it continues to go higher, as well as help the teachers and students in their academic work.
