Sait Matty sail to 1st round in FA Cup competition

Sait Matty are through to the first round in the ongoing Gambia Football Association (GFA) annual FA Cup competition.

Sait Matty grabbed a 3-2 post-match penalty shootout win over Gunjur United in the preliminary round, after a 2-2 draw in regulation time at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Wednesday.

Interior have also advanced to the 1st round following their post-match penalty shootout victory over Wallidan, after a 1-all draw in regulation time at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Seaview have also progressed to the 1st round after their post-match penalty shootout win over Seaview, following a 1-all draw in normal time at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on the same day.
