The clubs promoted are Lions of Banjul (BRFA), Tubabo FC (KMRFA) and Brufut United FC (WCRFA).
The Red Boys FC of BRFA won the triangular as the fourth club promoted.
The increment, according to GFF, is meant to engender more competition and to further create a wider baseline for players at the lower echelon of Gambian domestic football.
The Gambia Football Federation said the increment is in accordance with Article 9 (1) (Relegation and Promotion) of the GFF Rules and Regulations of the GFF Competition.
The GFF again congratulated Samger FC and Steve Biko FC for their performances in the Second Division and their eventual return to Division One football.
Consequently, Gamtel FC and Wallidan FC have been confirmed as Champions of the First Eco Partners League and FA Cup Competition 2014/15 season.
Gamtel would represent the Gambia at the CAF Champions League Competition while Wallidan will play in the CAF Confederations Cup Competition. Both clubs would vie in the preliminary qualifiers for a spot in the competitions regular.
The GFF finally felicitates the general public for their assistance during the period and further solicits their continuous and unflinching support in the period ahead for another successful league season.
