The first prosecution witness (PW1), Pa Modou Njie, recently testified in the trial involving Sulayman Njie and Kabba Njie, accused of attempting to commit a felony and prohibition of conduct conducive to a breach of the peace, before Magistrate Kijera of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court.
Njie told the court that he is a businessman, lives in Kanifing South and shares the same father and mother as the accused persons.
He recalled that on 22 July 2015, late at night he heard a noise, went out and saw the accused persons each holding a cutlass.
He separated them, but the 1st accused continued using abusive words, adding that he went to his house and called one commander Jagne at Bulldozer.
The Bulldozer officers arrived and arrested the 1st accused with a cutlass.
He told the court that the 1st accused usually threatens the whole compound every day, and he was taken to the Bulldozer office.

The case was adjourned to 19 August 2015.
