Scorpions' number one international goalie Pa Dembo Touray's Djurgarden will face Spartak Moscow, at the Stockholm Stadium on July 2 in an exciting friendly match before the start of the season.
Players' summer holidays since the end of last season in May are long over after a short training camp in southern Sweden, the squad is back in Stockholm. This is in line with plans to continue preparations for the autumn.
Yesterday, the squad resumed training and had two workouts for Djurgården's first team players, which consists of lighter bands running drills and techniques during a blazing sun.
Djurgården who had failed to put up an impressive performance in the Swedish Allsvenskan last season managed to achieve 16 points and 10 positions- a poor finish compared to leaders Helsingborgs, who conquered a maximum of 35 points.
