Adama Sanyang, a native of Fuladu Nema in Central River Region, on 3 January 2013 gave birth to triplet (two baby boys and a girl).
Sainey Fatty, a nurse at the Bansang Hospital, said the first baby was weighted 1.6kg while the second baby was 1.7kg and the third baby who weighted1.5kg.
“The weight of the babies is not good and if proper care is not taken the parents might loose them,” Ms Fatty said.
She noted that the mother needs support to take care of the babies, adding that the mother has hypertension due to thinking.
Jerreh Fatty, husband to Adama Sanyang, said they are appealing for support from the government, NGOs, the private sector, companies, philanthropists, individuals and anybody who can and is willing to help, to come to their aid.
“This is given to us by God but we are not financially strong to take care of them because the mother needs to be eating good food to have enough milk to be able to breastfeed the babies,” she noted.
