The association of ex-students of Masroor Senior Secondary School, in collaboration with the school management, recently organised its second graduation and prize-giving ceremony at the school campus.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the founding president of the association, Modou Sumareh, pointed out that the association was initiated last year, and this year marked the second anniversary of the association.
He added that since the inception of the school it had never held a passing-out ceremony until last year.
He noted that the ex-students association took it upon themselves to make it as part of their plan, which was aimed at contributing towards the academic performance of the students.
He said it was also to trace and bring back the former students of the school, who were the pioneering students of the school.
Mr Sumareh thanked both the parents and the management of the school, saying that without their cooperation, they could not archive what they have archived.
He urged the students to be steadfast and burn the midnight candle.
Baba Fofana, the association PRO, also pointed out that the association was two years now, and the motive behind the association was that since after passing out, they find it difficult as batch mate to come together.
According to PRO Fofana, the association had archived a lot of things whatever was realized from the launched on sale was used to renovate the school toilets and also embarked on cleansing exercise in the School, which makes the environment conducive for learning.
