
The
newly-promoted side Marimoo have completed a double over Brikama United in the
2016-2017 Gambia Football Federation domestic division one league.
The
Manjai-based outfit beat Brikama-based outfit 1-0 in the thirteen fixture
played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to keep their league title ambitions
alive.
Brikama
United lost to Marimoo 2-1 in the first round fixtures played at the Father
Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda before their weekend clash.
The
Brikama-based outfit came all out for revenge but lost to the Manjai-based
outfit 1-0 dashing their hopes of clinching their second league title since
2010-2011 season when they won their first-ever domestic division one league
title with coach Essa Sambou.
Marimoo
are with 25 points in thirteen league matches and Brikama United 16 points in
thirteen league matches.
