A man was recently granted bail in the sum of D100,000 with a Gambian surety, after he pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him.
Amadou Miniru Jallow was arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates' Court before Magistrate Tabally, charged with wilful damage to property and threatening violence.
The particulars of offence on count one stated that on 14th November 2010 at Pipeline in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused person, Amadou Miniru Jallow, wilfully damaged the house door of one Ebrima Jallow, valued at D7,400, by stoning it.
Count two read that on the same day and place, he threatened to kill the said Ebrima Jallow with an iron bar.
The case was adjourned to 30th November 2010.
